20" Cymbal & Gong Special Janavar crash-ride cymbal

Janavar series cymbals are typically considered to be light weight rock cymbals with a small bell, and are full sounding, bright, and clean.

Cymbalistic's “Special” Janavar is given a heavy patina, which dries the sound, and brings out a more complex character, making them excellent for jazz drummers wanting a brighter sound, that is still a true jazz sound. 

Weights typically range from 1700-1800g. Heavier examples will make a good main ride, lighter cymbals may be best in a left side role.

“Zazie” - 1712g
Higher, lighter sound than the 20″ Sp. Jan. “Madeline”, which is slightly heavier. Cluster of three rivets installed— slightly out of alignment to help durability.
