22" Cymbal & Gong Extra Special Janavar crash-ride

One of our most popular cymbals. Janavar series cymbals are typically considered to be light weight rock cymbals with a small bell, and are full sounding, bright, and clean. Cymbalistic's “Extra Special” Janavar cymbals are given traditional Turkish-style irregular hammering and lathing, for a slightly darker, more complex jazz sound. Usually we give them a heavy patina for a slightly drier sound, and to highlight the complexity. All Janavar cymbals are categorized as crash-rides.

Lovely moderately dark/smoky timbre, full body, nice deep wash without losing definition. Rather splashy crash sound. High, focused but mellow bell. Great candidate for rivets.
